Coaching Information
Below are all the requirements all head coaches and assistant coaches must complete before being assigned as a coach to a Delco Phantoms team.
- Please complete all PA Act 153 clearances BEFORE NCSI. You will need to upload your completed PA Act 153 clearances to NCSI.
- All PA Act 153 clearances are valid for 5 years.
PA Child Abuse History clearance is valid for 5 years.
PA FBI Criminal History Background check is valid for 5 years.

PA FBI Fingerprinting is valid for 5 years.
A Volunteer Affidavit can only be used in lieu of an FBI Check by anyone who has lived in PA for the last 10 consecutive years AND is participating as a volunteer with USA Hockey

- All PA Act 153 clearance must be completed BEFORE NCSI screening.
- NCSI screening is required to be completed every other season.
USA COACHING REQUIREMENTS FOR HEAD COACHES & ASSISTANT COACHES
All head coaches and assistant coaches MUST complete SafeSport training, USAH module & have your current CEP.
- SafeSport training must be completed every season.
- You must complete the USA Hockey age-specific module for the level you are coaching.
- You must have your current CEP/clinic before being added as a coach to the team.
