COACHING INFORMATION
Below are all the requirements all head coaches and assistant coaches must complete before being assigned as a coach to a Delco Phantoms team.
Prior to being approved as a Delco Phantoms head coach or assistant coach, you will be required to submit a picture of your USA Hockey coaching credentials from your USA Hockey portal. Any expired, expiring or incomplete coaching credential is not accepted.
Please complete all PA Act 153 clearances BEFORE NCSI. You will need to upload your completed PA Act 153 clearances to NCSI.
All PA Act 153 clearances are valid for 5 years.
No coach or assistant coach is permitted on the bench, ice, locker room and cannot participate in any Delco Phantoms activities until all clearances are completed and you are approved by USA Hockey and added to the teams roster.
Any new head coach and assistant coach will be approved by the Club for a Delco Phantoms warm up once all the coaching requirements are completed and you are approved by USA Hockey and added to the teams roster. The Club approves all coaches warm-ups until October 31, 2025. Coaches warm-ups will not be ordered after October 31, 2025.

PA FBI Criminal History Background check is valid for 5 years.

A Volunteer Affidavit can only be used in lieu of an FBI Check by anyone who has lived in PA for the last 10 consecutive years AND is participating as a volunteer with USA Hockey

USA COACHING REQUIREMENTS FOR HEAD COACHES & ASSISTANT COACHES
All head coaches and assistant coaches MUST complete SafeSport training, USAH module & have your current CEP.
SafeSport training must be completed every season.
You must complete the USA Hockey age-specific module for the level you are coaching.
You must have your current CEP/clinic before being added as a coach to the team.
